AAIC 2026 is the first international aquatic therapy conference in Egypt, organized by AIMS in collaboration with the International Aquatic Therapy Faculty (IATF) — the organization behind many of the aquatic therapy concepts used worldwide today.

International Faculty

Johan Lambeck — Netherlands. Co-founder and Senior Lecturer at IATF, and the first non-American to receive the APTA “Excellence in Aquatic Physical Therapy” award. He was educated by James McMillan, the founder of the Halliwick Concept, and has taught roughly 1,000 aquatic therapy seminars in 64 countries.

Urs Gamper — Switzerland. President and co-founder of IATF, with over 40 years in neurological, orthopedic, and rheumatological rehabilitation. He developed the Bad Ragaz Ring Method into the complete concept taught worldwide today.

Leading Egyptian experts also present clinical applications across orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, and fall prevention.

Learning Moves to the Pool

The lectures are followed by a 2.5-hour hands-on practical session in the pool with Urs Gamper and Johan Lambeck — direct clinical training with the experts themselves. Places are strictly limited to keep groups small.

Continue Your Learning Journey

Immediately after the conference, on 22–24 October 2026, participants can attend the internationally recognized Halliwick — The Ten-Point Programme course, led by Johan Lambeck and carrying International Aquatic Therapy Certification by IATF, Switzerland. Three days covering one of the world’s most respected approaches to movement, balance control, and independence in water.
