The Lymphedema Foundation Course is an intensive three day training program that combines both theoretical knowledge and hands on practical sessions. It is designed for physiotherapists who aim to build a solid clinical foundation in the assessment and management of lymphedema.

The course is accredited by the Gultig Lymphology Institute in Germany, with the same accreditation hours as AIMS. It focuses on the principles of Complete Decongestive Therapy and emphasizes clinical application to ensure effective transfer of knowledge into daily practice.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of the anatomical background of the lymphatic system, the etiology of primary and secondary lymphedema, and the clinical management of common related conditions. Practical training includes manual lymph drainage techniques, bandaging and compression therapy, therapeutic exercises, and proper skin and nail care.

At the end of the course, participants will complete an evaluation exam, and successful candidates will receive a certificate of attendance and exam completion accredited by AIMS.

– Filariasis chronic venous insufficiency post mastectomy lymphoedema&

– Scales & follow up measurements and documentation
– Selection of post treatment different types of compression garments
– Patient education

By the end of sessions evaluation test + Certificate of attendance and passing the exam by AIMS
