SPINAL MANIPULATION

Spinal Manipulation and Mobilization

(Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic spine, and Rib cage)

Based on Clinical Reasoning and Spinal Biomechanics

6 Days of intensive practical Training = 2 Blocks + Online theory Part

Instructor: Dr. Ahmed Baghdadi

By the end of this program, participants will be able to explain the fundamental components of the spinal assessment, understand the clinically apply the principles of assessment including the:

  • Principles of Subjective examination C/O
  • Principles of Physical examination P/E  and reassessment
  • Principles of assessment during and immediately after treatment
  • Principles of clinical reasoning as applied to movement-related spinal disorders and the process of hypothesis generation and testing
  • Understand and apply the principles relevant to the use of spinal manipulation and long lever mobilization techniques in clinical practice

Program curriculum (Topics to be covered)

  • Evidence-Based Practice for spinal manipulation and mobilization
  • Review on spinal anatomical considerations from a biomechanical point of view
  • Spinal biomechanics and motion analysis and kinetic control, Frayatt’s laws for Lumbar, thoracic, rib cage & cervical spine
  • Provocation Testing
